Pearse Mehigan
Principal
Our Principal, Pearse Mehigan, qualified as a solicitor in 1981 and has been in practice now for well over 40 years, having established the practice here in Dun Laoghaire in 1982. In that time, Pearse has built up a substantial client base with a good mix of both private and corporate clients for whom he acts and advises on a full range of legal issues which arise on a daily basis. Pearse is primarily involved in litigation and has acted for a number of the country’s leading insurance companies over the years. More recently he has been very much involved in representing victims of abuse, both clerical and non-clerical, and has an extensive knowledge and understanding of the impact of sexual, physical and emotional abuse and all its consequences. Pearse is an accredited mediator through the CEDR programme which he has applied successfully to bring resolution to several challenging cases, especially those concerning victims of childhood sexual abuse. The practice has evolved over the years into a vibrant and efficient practice based largely on the drive and energy of the Principal who brings a personal touch to all of our many clients while at the same time offering clear and objective advice on a broad range of issues.
